Remote Learning
The fluid nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic creates the possibility that our district may experience spikes in COVID-19 cases at any point during the school year, prompting short- or long-term closures.
In the event school buildings are closed by Executive Order or by order of the local Nassau County Department of Health and the district was to shift into the Full Remote Learning Model, the following guidelines will be in place:
- Student and teacher schedules will remain the same to avoid any conflicts between subjects or special area lessons. (see links below)
- Students will receive the same amount of synchronous and asynchronous instruction outlined in our reopening plan.
