The playground buzzed with energy as students made their way through a decorated route celebrating school spirit, fitness, and community. From the side, parents cheered students every step of the way. This year’s event encouraged students to wear pink and fundraising efforts through the school’s Leadership Club benefited The American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Island Park’s young students have been participating in this event since the 1980s. The Winner’s Walk continues to inspire health, kindness, and community pride one step at a time.
