About Us

The Island Park Union Free School District is the smallest school district in Nassau County, a distinction that allows us to foster a uniquely close-knit and nurturing learning community. In our schools, every student is known, valued, and supported. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to help each child reach their full potential academically, artistically, socially, and emotionally.

Through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and a strong partnership with families and the community, we create an environment where students feel safe, inspired, and empowered to learn. From the classroom to the arts, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities, Island Park schools are committed to developing the whole child and preparing students to become confident thinkers, creative problem solvers, and responsible citizens in an ever-changing world.
