Dear Island Park Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 academic year!

As we approach the start of a new school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to all of our families. Whether you are returning families or new members of our school community, we are thrilled to have you as part of the Island Park Schools.

As the Superintendent of Schools, I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve you and your children. Our District is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. The 2023-2024 school year will be guided by our continuing efforts to fulfill the priorities and initiatives prescribed in the District’s 2021-2024 Strategic Plan. Throughout the school year, we will continue to provide a well-rounded education that encompasses academic excellence, social-emotional learning, and opportunities for personal growth. Our teachers will engage students in innovative and dynamic instruction, while also nurturing their individual strengths and talents through personal goal setting.
We believe in fostering a strong partnership between home and school, as we know that collaboration is key to the success of our students. Communication is essential to our partnership, and we strive to keep you informed and engaged in your child’s education. Our District website, newsletters, and social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter will provide you with important updates, event announcements, and educational resources. The Board of Education and I welcome and encourage each family’s participation in all of the many planned school events noted in the 2023-2024 District Calendar. We look forward to sharing, with pride, our commitment to providing the highest quality educational opportunities to prepare our students, your children, for the 21st century and beyond!
